Build It Bro was founded in 2015 by Vince Robinson — a third-generation builder with roots in New Zealand and a deep commitment to Canberra.

Vince learned the craft alongside his father, following in his footsteps not long after finishing school. In 2007, he earned his builder’s license and set out to raise the bar for what a great building experience should feel like. When his son joined the ranks, the team grew to three generations strong.

We’re not just in this to build homes. We’re in this to build relationships. We believe that if we can work in someone’s home for six months and be invited back for dinner — we’ve done it right.

Today, our team includes in-house carpenters, hand-picked trades, admin and HR support, and a trusted circle of architectural partners. We don’t chase volume. We choose to focus on a handful of projects at a time — giving each one the energy, respect, and quality it deserves.

Whether it’s a deck or pergola, an extension, or a knockdown rebuild, we bring the same values to every site: transparency, craftsmanship, and care. And a bit of cheek — because building doesn’t have to be stressful. With us, it’s a team effort.
