About

Kenneth Webster is the owner of Shoebox Books Civic and Shoebox Books Belconnen, providing bookkeeping, payroll and BAS services to businesses across Canberra and surrounding NSW. He works with business owners who want accurate numbers, reliable systems and fewer admin headaches, without losing visibility or control over their business.

Kenneth’s approach is practical, structured and compliance-focused. He helps clients keep their bookkeeping up to date, manage payroll correctly, meet their BAS and reporting obligations, and build systems that reduce manual work and prevent errors. His focus is not just on getting transactions processed, but on making sure the underlying records are clean, the process is sustainable, and the business owner can rely on the information.

He works with a wide range of small and medium businesses, including trades, retail, professional services and other growing businesses that need more than basic data entry. This often includes cleaning up messy files, fixing broken processes, reconstructing records where things have gone off track, and creating better workflows for accounts payable, payroll and reporting.

As a registered BAS agent and certified bookkeeper, Kenneth brings both technical knowledge and a strong systems mindset. He is particularly interested in using technology and automation to reduce back and forth, improve consistency, and create cleaner audit trails, while still keeping the service practical and personal.

Kenneth understands that most business owners do not want to become bookkeeping experts. They want to know that it is being handled properly, that the numbers are right, and that someone competent is keeping an eye on the details. That is the role he aims to fill.

If you are looking for a bookkeeper who is methodical, clear and focused on getting things right, Kenneth would be pleased to have a conversation.
