Jonathan is a lawyer admitted in the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and High Court of Australia, specialising in family law (parenting, property, and divorce) and personal protection matters (FVOs, PPOs, WPOs).

Beyond the law, Jonathan is on various boards and committees, including Live and Learn International, Queanbeyan Junior Brass, Easts Rugby Union Football Club, the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals’ Association. Jonathan is also a member of the ACT Law Society.

In 2025, Jonathan played his 100th game for Easts Rugby and was awarded the centurion baggy cap. In 2023 and 2026, Jonathan was part of Easts premiership winning teams in the Bellchambers Barrett Canberra Suburban Cup.
