Cassandra Dove is an Australian contemporary artist who creates expressive abstract paintings inspired by the landscape and travel experiences.  Her work is characterised by layers of rich colours, textures, and gestural brushstrokes that bring an immersive experience into the home or office.  Cassandra enjoys collaborating with interior designers and homeowners to create bespoke artworks that elevate a space and add visual interest.

Cassandra’s large-scale paintings were showcased in a major solo exhibition in November 2025 at Belconnen Arts Centre.  She has been the recipient of several awards and grants and has exhibited with galleries in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and NSW.  

Cassandra began painting in earnest in 2022 after a 20-year career as a clinical social worker. Moving to Canberra in 2020 provided the perfect opportunity for a career change and plenty of inspiration from the surrounding natural landscape. She works in her studio at Australian National Capital Artists in Canberra.
