Ben has been broking in the Canberra market for some 12 years and has worked in the broader insurance industry for over 15 years

Having worked in business and higher education in China for 4 years Ben commenced his career with a major Australian insurer in 2005 holding various roles in Underwriting, Risk Assessment, Business Development and others 

In 2008 Ben joined a small local Canberra brokerage quickly building the business as a loss leader to the most profitable part of a broader financial services business 

In 2013 the general insurance arm of the business was bought by MGA INSURANCE BROKERS, a national  brokerage and Ben was established as Branch Manager and Corporate Authorised Representative 

Ben continued to build the business under the new structure into a brokerage that punches well above its weight

At the same time Ben has developed a broad and diverse client base in many industries in the SME space delivering a technical, dedicated and transparent service model for his clients and stakeholders 

Ben especially loves working with the small business owner on understanding their risks needs whilst providing insurance products and services necessary for business protection and continuity 

Ben is married with 2 young sons, Zachary and Elijah

He loves combat sports and trains regularly in Boxing and Muay Thai
