Craig Plaister, aka Craig the Computer Geek has more than 28 years of experience in Information Technology. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and is highly experienced in Windows administration. Craig has many years experience building and repairing PCs and laptops and troubleshooting all types of computer related problems.
He started his career in IT as a DataFlex programmer way back in 1988. Even from the early days, people were always asking, “Craig, can you please fix my computer?” Craig has experience in many different types of industries, including software, retail, manufacturing, banking, transport and government. He has worked in Hobart, Melbourne, London, Sydney and now is based in Canberra. Craig’s passion was always fixing computers and helping people with their computer problems but after becoming disillusioned with office politics, he realised that his purpose in life was to start a business doing what he loved and what he did best.
So Craig the Computer Geek was formed in July 2012 for this very purpose. Starting with the computers of family and friends, we now service the technology needs of customers, both private and small business, in the home or in the workplace, in Weston Creek and right across Canberra, Queanbeyan and beyond: with a friendly manner, a smile and with prompt and efficient value for money service.
